At Agiña we believe in superior quality extra-virgin olive oil. Our olive trees in the Rioja Alavesa region provide us with sustainable extra-virgin olive oil, respecting our commitment to organic farming at all times.
We obtain our extra-virgin olive oil using mechanical cold pressing procedures, without adding any heat during the process so as to get the fullest aroma from our olives. With a high content of oleic acid and polyphenols, our extra-virgin olive oil has moderate bitterness and piquancy, a green earthy aroma of olive, olive leaf, artichoke and freshly cut grass.
Growing and processing our ingredients here, in our own homeland, allows us to produce Eusko Label extra-virgin olive oil. At Agiña we are proud of the fact that the flavour of our EVOO has been awarded the most important Basque quality accreditation: the Eusko Label.
